SCOPE OF PRACTICE

Remedial bodywork is a Non-medical Service: Massage therapy of any kind is not a substitute for medical care and that therapists are not qualified to diagnose medical conditions.

DOMA BODY THERAPIES works with the understanding clients may be referred to other healthcare professionals if necessary and can either refuse or stop treatment if deemed unsafe or working outside the scope of practice.

CONSENT FORMS/STORAGE OF CONSENT.

DOMA BODY THERAPIES uses Acuity & Cliniko for clinic notes/record keeping.

There is an expectation from clients to fill out forms before treatment begins and provide a complete health history and consent forms prior to treatment, outlining any medical conditions, injuries, or allergies that could affect the massage

If a form is not completed before arriving this will eat into the client's allocated time and there will be shorter treatment time.

HYGIENE, HEALTH & SAFETY

For everyone's health and safety please inform your practitioner of any infectious or contagious disease or illness, please reschedule to ensure the safety of the therapist, other clients and other practitioners & peoples in the space.

Please arrive clean and tidy, covering any open wounds and always inform your practitioner prior to commencing treatment any changes in your health.

CANCELLATION POLICY & RESCHEDULING

• 50% cancellation fee within 48 hours of the treatment for non-emergency cancellations.

• 100% cancellation fee within 24 hours of the treatment for non-emergency cancellations.

• 2 last minute cancellations within 60 days will nullify any future appointments with DOMA BODY THERAPIES and the professional relationship will cease.

• DOMA BODY THERAPIES will void all future treatments with individuals if they refuse to honor or pay the cancellation fee.
